Paul and Jolie Sock
Missionaries to Poland
Paul and Jolie Sock have been on the field since July of 2002. Their church in Warsaw has two Sunday morning services, one in English and one in Polish. The sign on Gospel Baptist Church reads, “The Bible tells you why you must be saved today.” The reason Brother Paul chose that is because when you talk to a Catholic about salvation they always say “you can’t be saved now, you have to wait until after you die to find out if you were good enough.” He thought the statement would be thought provoking to the people who passed by. Many have stopped to read it. They are now in the process of buying another building. Please pray that things will work out for them to acquire it.
Below is a picture of their 2006 Christmas banquet and a recent church picnic. They use these opportunities to preach the Gospel to the visitors that come. Jolie started a weekly Bible study and discipleship time for the English-speaking ladies in March. It has been a great success in helping the ladies.
Jolie is the daughter of our members Tom and Paula Bensinger and sister to Mrs. Amanda Durham and Patricia and Hannah
